Synopsis

The remote EulerOS host is missing a security update.

Description

According to the version of the virglrenderer packages installed, the EulerOS installation on the remote host is affected by the following vulnerability :

 - Memory leak in the vrend_create_vertex_elements_state function in vrend_renderer.c in virglrenderer allows local guest OS users to cause a denial of service (host memory consumption) via a large number of VIRGL_OBJECT_VERTEX_ELEMENTS commands.(CVE-2017-6386)

Note that Tenable Network Security has extracted the preceding description block directly from the EulerOS security advisory. Tenable has attempted to automatically clean and format it as much as possible without introducing additional issues.

Solution

Update the affected virglrenderer package.
