Synopsis

An application running on the remote host is affected by a URL injection vulnerability.

Description

The version of EMC RSA Archer running on the remote web server is 6.8.x prior to 6.8.0.4 (6.8 P4) or 6.9.x prior to 6.9.0.1 (6.9 P1). It is, therefore, affected by a URL injection vulnerability. An unauthenticated, remote attacker can exploit this by tricking a victim application user to execute malicious JavaScript code in the context of the web application.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update to 6.8.0.4, 6.9.0.1, or later.
