The remote machine is affected by a vulnerability.

Description

The remote NewStart CGSL host, running version CORE 5.05 / MAIN 5.05, has taglib packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability:

- The TagLib::Ogg::FLAC::File::scan function in oggflacfile.cpp in TagLib 1.11.1 allows remote attackers to cause information disclosure (heap-based buffer over-read) via a crafted audio file. (CVE-2018-11439)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade the vulnerable CGSL taglib packages. Note that updated packages may not be available yet. Please contact ZTE for more information.
