Description

The remote Scientific Linux 7 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the SLSA-2021:0162-1 advisory.

 - XStream: remote code execution due to insecure XML deserialization when relying on blocklists (CVE-2020-26217)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected xstream and / or xstream-javadoc packages.
