The remote machine is affected by a vulnerability.

Description

The remote NewStart CGSL host, running version MAIN 6.02, has libtiff packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability:

 - tif_getimage.c in LibTIFF through 4.0.10, as used in GDAL through 3.0.1 and other products, has an integer overflow that potentially causes a heap-based buffer overflow via a crafted RGBA image, related to a Negative-size-param condition. (CVE-2019-17546)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade the vulnerable CGSL libtiff packages. Note that updated packages may not be available yet. Please contact ZTE for more information.
