Synopsis

Adobe Bridge installed on remote Windows host is affected by a multiple vulnerabilities

Description

The version of Adobe Bridge installed on the remote Windows host is prior to 11.0.1. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the apsb21-07 advisory.

- Adobe Bridge version 11.0 (and earlier) is affected by an out-of-bounds write vulnerability when parsing TTF files that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. (CVE-2021-21065, CVE-2021-21066)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Adobe Bridge version 11.0.1 or later.
