Synopsis

A PHP application running on the remote web server is affected by a vulnerability.

Description

According to its self-reported version, the instance of Drupal running on the remote web server is 7.x prior to 7.78, 8.9.x prior to 8.9.13, 9.x prior to 9.0.11, or 9.1.x prior to 9.1.3. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability.

- Tar.php in Archive_Tar through 1.4.11 allows write operations with Directory Traversal due to inadequate checking of symbolic links, a related issue to CVE-2020-28948. (CVE-2020-36193)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Drupal version 7.78 / 8.9.13 / 9.0.11 / 9.1.3 or later.
