A web application running on the remote web server is affected by denial of service vulnerability.

Description

Pivotal RabbitMQ versions 3.8.x prior to 3.8.16 are affected by a denial of service (DoS) vulnerability due to improper input validation. A remote attacker can exploit this by sending malicious AMQP messages in order to cause a crash.

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Pivotal RabbitMQ version 3.8.16 or later.
