Synopsis

The remote SUSE host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote SUSE Linux SUSE15 host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the openSUSE-SU-2021:1024-1 advisory.

- An out-of-bounds write vulnerability exists in the import_stl.cc:import_stl() functionality of Openscad openscad-2020.12-RC2. A specially crafted STL file can lead to code execution. An attacker can provide a malicious file to trigger this vulnerability. (CVE-2020-28600)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
