Description

The version of Adobe Photoshop installed on the remote Windows host is prior to 21.2.11/22.5. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the apsb21-68 advisory.

- Adobe Photoshop versions 21.2.10 (and earlier) and 22.4.3 (and earlier) are affected by an out-of-bounds write vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user.
Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file.

- Adobe Photoshop versions 21.2.10 (and earlier) and 22.4.3 (and earlier) are affected by a heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file.

Solution

Upgrade to Adobe Photoshop version 21.2.11/22.5 or later.
