Synopsis

The remote device is missing a vendor-supplied security patch

Description

According to its self-reported version, Cisco Application Policy Infrastructure Controller is affected by a privilege escalation vulnerability due to an insufficient role-based access control. An authenticated, remote attacker can exploit this, by sending a specially crafted request, to gain administrative access with write privileges on the system.
