Synopsis

The remote Ubuntu host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The remote Ubuntu 20.04 LTS host has a package installed that is affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the USN-5097-1 advisory.

 It was discovered that LedgerSMB incorrectly handled certain inputs. An attacker could use this to leak sensitive information, cause a DoS, or execute arbitrary code. (CVE-2021-3693, CVE-2021-3694, CVE-2021-3731)

Solution

Update the affected ledgersmb package.
