The remote NewStart CGSL host is affected by a vulnerability.

Description

The remote NewStart CGSL host, running version CORE 5.05 / MAIN 5.05, has screen packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability:

- encoding.c in GNU Screen through 4.8.0 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (invalid write access and application crash) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a crafted UTF-8 character sequence. (CVE-2021-26937)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Upgrade the vulnerable CGSL screen packages. Note that updated packages may not be available yet. Please contact ZTE for more information.
