The remote CentOS host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote CentOS Linux 8 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the CESA-2022:1898 advisory.

 - fapolicyd: fapolicyd wrongly prepares ld.so path (CVE-2022-1117)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected fapolicyd and / or fapolicyd-selinux packages.
