The remote AlmaLinux host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote AlmaLinux 8 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the ALSA-2022:1810 advisory.

- Buffer Overflow in LibTiff v4.0.10 allows attackers to cause a denial of service via the invertImage() function in the component tiffcrop. (CVE-2020-19131)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected libtiff and / or libtiff-devel packages.
