Synopsis
The remote device is missing a vendor-supplied security patch.Description
According to its self-reported version, Cisco Web Security Appliance (WSA) is affected by a privilege escalation vulnerability. This vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input for the web interface. An authenticated, remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to elevate to root privileges by authenticating to the system and sending a crafted HTTP packet to the affected device.Please see the included Cisco BIDs and Cisco Security Advisory for more information.
