Synopsis
The remote Debian host is missing a security-related update.Description
The remote Debian 10 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the dla-3104 advisory.- In Paramiko before 2.10.1, a race condition (between creation and chmod) in the write_private_key_file function could allow unauthorized information disclosure. (CVE-2022-24302)
Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
Solution
Upgrade the paramiko packages.For Debian 10 Buster, these problems have been fixed in version 2.4.2-0.1+deb10u1.
