Synopsis

The remote Red Hat host is missing a security update for libksba.

Description

The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 9 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the RHSA-2022:7090 advisory.

- libksba: integer overflow may lead to remote code execution (CVE-2022-3515)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the RHEL libksba package based on the guidance in RHSA-2022:7090.
