Description

The remote host is affected by the vulnerability described in GLSA-202210-26 (Shadow: TOCTOU Race)

 - shadow: TOCTOU (time-of-check time-of-use) race condition when copying and removing directory trees (CVE-2013-4235)

Solution

All Shadow users should upgrade to the latest version:

 # emerge --sync # emerge --ask --oneshot --verbose >=sys-apps/shadow-4.12.2
