Synopsis
The remote Rocky Linux host is missing a security update.Description
The remote Rocky Linux 8 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the RLSA-2022:7720 advisory.- An out-of-bounds read/write vulnerability was found in e2fsprogs 1.46.5. This issue leads to a segmentation fault and possibly arbitrary code execution via a specially crafted filesystem.
