Synopsis

The remote Red Hat host is missing a security update for usbguard.

Description

The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 8 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the RHSA-2022:8806 advisory.

- usbguard: Fix unauthorized access via D-Bus (CVE-2019-25058)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the RHEL usbguard package based on the guidance in RHSA-2022:8806.
