Synopsis

The remote Amazon Linux AMI host is missing a security update.

Description

The version of libksba installed on the remote host is prior to 1.3.5-1.10. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the ALAS-2022-1649 advisory.

- libksba: integer overflow may lead to remote code execution (CVE-2022-3515)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Run 'yum update libksba' to update your system.
