The remote Debian host is missing a security-related update.

Description

The remote Debian 10 host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the dla-3258 advisory.

- Prototype pollution vulnerability in function parseQuery in parseQuery.js in webpack loader-utils 2.0.0 via the name variable in parseQuery.js. (CVE-2022-37601)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade the node-loader-utils packages.

For Debian 10 buster, this problem has been fixed in version 1.1.0-2+deb10u1.
