The remote SUSE host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote SUSE Linux SLES15 / SLES_SAP15 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the SUSE-SU-2023:0004-1 advisory.

- Insufficient input validation in MdeModulePkg in EDKII may allow an unauthenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege, denial of service and/or information disclosure via physical access.

Solution

Update the affected ovmf, ovmf-tools, qemu-ovmf-x86_64 and / or qemu-uefi-aarch64 packages.
