The remote SUSE host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote SUSE Linux SLES15 / openSUSE 15 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the SUSE-SU-2023:0069-1 advisory.

- A potential memory leak issue was discovered in SDL2 in GLES_CreateTexture() function in SDL_render_gles.c. The vulnerability allows an attacker to cause a denial of service attack. The vulnerability affects SDL2 v2.0.4 and above. SDL-1.x are not affected. (CVE-2022-4743)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected libSDL2-2_0-0, libSDL2-2_0-0-32bit, libSDL2-devel and / or libSDL2-devel-32bit packages.
