Synopsis

The remote openSUSE host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote openSUSE 15 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the SUSE- SU-2022:1316-1 advisory.

 - The PoDoFo::PdfVariant::DelayedLoad function in PdfVariant.h in PoDoFo 0.9.6 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference) via a crafted file, because of ImageExtractor.cpp.
 (CVE-2019-20093)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected libpodofo-devel, libpodofo0_9_6 and / or podofo packages.
