Synopsis

The remote Amazon Linux 2 host is missing a security update.

Description

The version of libtasn1 installed on the remote host is prior to 4.10-1. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the ALAS2-2023-1908 advisory.

GNU Libtasn1 before 4.19.0 has an ETYPE_OK off-by-one array size check that affects asn1_encode_simple_der. (CVE-2021-46848)
