Synopsis

A web application running on the remote server is affected by an information disclosure vulnerability.

Description

According to its self-reported version, the instance of TIBCO JasperReports Server running on the remote web server is 6.x < 6.2.5, 6.3.0, 6.3.2, 6.3.3, 6.4.0, or 6.4.2. It is, therefore, affected by an information disclosure vulnerability in the Spring web flows component that can allow any authenticated user read-only access to the contents of the web application, including key configuration files.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to TIBCO JasperReports Server version 6.2.5 / 6.3.4 / 6.4.3 or later.
