Synopsis

The remote web server contains an application that is affected by a security feature bypass vulnerability.

Description

The version of Adobe Connect installed on the remote host is prior to 11.4.6. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the apsb23-05 advisory.

- Adobe Connect versions 11.4.5 (and earlier), 12.1.5 (and earlier) are affected by an Improper Access Control vulnerability that could result in a Security feature bypass. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to impact the integrity of a minor feature. Exploitation of this issue does not require user interaction. (CVE-2023-22232)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Adobe Connect version 11.4.6 or later.
