Description

The version of Google Chrome installed on the remote macOS host is prior to 111.0.5563.110. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the 2023_03_stable-channel-update-for-desktop_21 advisory.

 - Use after free in Passwords. (CVE-2023-1528)

 - Out of bounds memory access in WebHID. (CVE-2023-1529)

 - Use after free in PDF. (CVE-2023-1530)

 - Use after free in ANGLE. (CVE-2023-1531)

 - Out of bounds read in GPU Video. (CVE-2023-1532)

 - Use after free in WebProtect. (CVE-2023-1533)

 - Out of bounds read in ANGLE. (CVE-2023-1534)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Google Chrome version 111.0.5563.110 or later.
