Synopsis

The remote CBL Mariner host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of python-mako installed on the remote CBL Mariner 2.0 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the CVE-2022-40023 advisory.

- Sqlalchemy mako before 1.2.2 is vulnerable to Regular expression Denial of Service when using the Lexer class to parse. This also affects babelplugin and linguaplugin. (CVE-2022-40023)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
