Synopsis

The remote Ubuntu host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote Ubuntu 16.04 ESM / 18.04 LTS / 20.04 LTS / 22.04 LTS host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the USN-6046-1 advisory.

It was discovered that OpenSSL-ibmca incorrectly handled certain RSA decryption. An attacker could possibly use this issue to expose sensitive information.

Solution

Update the affected openssl-ibmca package.
