Synopsis

The remote Red Hat host is missing one or more security updates for git-lfs.

Description

The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 8 host has a package installed that is affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the RHSA-2023:2866 advisory.

Git Large File Storage (LFS) replaces large files such as audio samples, videos, datasets, and graphics with text pointers inside Git, while storing the file contents on a remote server.

Security Fix(es):

* golang: net/http/httputil: ReverseProxy should not forward unparseable query parameters (CVE-2022-2880)

* golang: regexp/syntax: limit memory used by parsing regexps (CVE-2022-41715)

* golang: net/http: excessive memory growth in a Go server accepting HTTP/2 requests (CVE-2022-41717)
