The version of GitLab installed on the remote host is affected by a vulnerability.

Description

The version of GitLab installed on the remote host is affected by a vulnerability, as follows:

- An information disclosure issue in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions from 16.0 prior to 16.0.6, and version 16.1.0 allows unauthenticated actors to access the import error information if a project was imported from GitHub. (CVE-2023-3362)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to GitLab version 16.0.6, 16.1.1 or later.
