Synopsis

The remote Amazon Linux 2 host is missing a security update.

Description

The version of openldap installed on the remote host is prior to 2.4.44-25. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the ALAS2-2023-2095 advisory.

- A vulnerability was found in openldap. This security flaw causes a null pointer dereference in ber_memalloc_x() function. (CVE-2023-2953)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
