According to its self-reported version, Cisco ASA Software is affected by a denial of service (DoS) vulnerability in the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) feature of Cisco Firepower Threat Defense Software. Due to insufficient input validation, an authenticated, remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted SNMP request to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the affected device to reload, resulting in a DoS condition.Please see the included Cisco BIDs and Cisco Security Advisory for more information.
