Synopsis

The remote Windows host has an application installed that is affected by multiple vulnerabilities

Description

The remote Windows host has a version of ImageMagick installed that is prior to 7.1.1-10. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilites:

- remote code execution vulnerability in OpenBlob with --enable-pipes configured. (CVE-2023-34152)
- security flaw occuring as undefined behavior of casting double to size_t in svg, mvg and other coders (CVE-2023-34151)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to an unaffected version of ImageMagick.

Note that you may need to manually uninstall the vulnerable version from the system.
