Description

The remote SUSE Linux SLED15 / SLED_SAP15 / SLES15 / SLES_SAP15 / openSUSE 15 host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the SUSE-SU-2023:3353-1 advisory.

 - re2c before 2.0 has uncontrolled recursion that causes stack consumption in find_fixed_tags.
 (CVE-2018-21232)

Solution

Update the affected re2c package.
