Synopsis

The remote FreeBSD host is missing one or more security-related updates.

Description

The version of FreeBSD installed on the remote host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the 252f40cb-618c-47f4-a2cf-1abf30cffbbe advisory.

- An issue was discovered in Flask-CORS (aka CORS Middleware for Flask) before 3.0.9. It allows ../ directory traversal to access private resources because resource matching does not ensure that pathnames are in a canonical format. (CVE-2020-25032)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
