The remote SUSE host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote SUSE Linux SLED15 / SLED_SAP15 / SLES15 / SLES_SAP15 / openSUSE 15 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the SUSE-SU-2023:3518-1 advisory.

- Buffer Overflow vulnerability in WEBP_Support.cpp in exempi 2.5.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service via opening of crafted webp file. (CVE-2020-18652)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected exempi-tools, libexempi-devel, libexempi3 and / or libexempi3-32bit packages.
