Synopsis

The remote Oracle Linux host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote Oracle Linux 5 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the ELSA-2007-1037 advisory.

 - OpenLDAP before 2.3.39 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (slapd crash) via an LDAP request with a malformed objectClasses attribute. NOTE: this has been reported as a double free, but the reports are inconsistent. (CVE-2007-5707)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected packages.
