The remote SUSE host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote SUSE Linux SLES12 / SLES_SAP12 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the SUSE-SU-2023:3626-1 advisory.

- Heap buffer overflow in WebP in Google Chrome prior to 116.0.5845.187 allowed a remote attacker to perform an out of bounds memory write via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Critical) (CVE-2023-4863)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected MozillaFirefox, MozillaFirefox-devel and / or MozillaFirefox-translations-common packages.
