Synopsis
The remote Amazon Linux 2023 host is missing a security update.Description
It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the ALAS2023-2023-354 advisory.- A Segmentation Fault issue discovered in in ieee_segment function in outieee.c in nasm 2.14.03 and 2.15 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service via crafted assembly file. (CVE-2020-21528)
Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
