Synopsis
The remote Amazon Linux AMI host is missing a security update.Description
The version of hwloc installed on the remote host is prior to 1.7-3.8. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the ALAS-2023-1833 advisory.An issue was discovered in open-mpi hwloc 2.1.0 allows attackers to cause a denial of service or other unspecified impacts via glibc-cpuset in topology-linux.c. (CVE-2022-47022)
