Synopsis
The remote Amazon Linux 2 host is missing a security update.Description
The version of memcached installed on the remote host is prior to 1.5.17-1. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the ALAS2MEMCACHED1.5-2023-001 advisory.Buffer Overflow vulnerability in authfile.c memcached 1.6.9 allows attackers to cause a denial of service via crafted authenticattion file. (CVE-2021-37519)
