Synopsis

The remote Debian host is missing a security-related update.

Description

The remote Debian 10 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the dla-3612 advisory.

- A Server-Side Request Forgery issue in the OpenID Connect Issuer in LemonLDAP::NG before 2.17.1 allows authenticated remote attackers to send GET requests to arbitrary URLs through the request_uri authorization parameter. This is similar to CVE-2020-10770. (CVE-2023-44469)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade the lemonldap-ng packages.

For Debian 10 buster, this problem has been fixed in version 2.0.2+ds-7+deb10u10.
