Synopsis

The remote Ubuntu host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The remote Ubuntu 18.04 ESM host has a package installed that is affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the USN-4866-1 advisory.

It was discovered that Netty incorrectly implements HTTP/2. An attacker could possibly use this issue to cause a denial of service. (CVE-2019-9512, CVE-2019-9514, CVE-2019-9515, CVE-2019-9518)

Solution

Update the affected libnetty-java package.
