Synopsis

The remote Ubuntu host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote Ubuntu 16.04 ESM / 18.04 ESM host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the USN-4869-1 advisory.

It was discovered that aria2 could accidentally leak authentication data. An attacker could possibly use this to gain access to sensitive information.

Solution

Update the affected aria2 package.
