Synopsis

A digital signage management application is affected by a path traversal vulnerability.

Description

The LG LED Assistant running on the remote host is affected by a path traversal vulnerability. An unauthenticated, remote attacker can exploit this, via a specially crafted message, to upload arbitrary files to any directory on the disk drive where the product is installed.

Solution

LG LED Assistant v2.1.57 or later is known to be mitigated.
