The remote SUSE host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote SUSE Linux SLED15 / SLED_SAP15 / SLES15 / SLES_SAP15 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the SUSE-SU-2023:4091-1 advisory.

- An issue in Gevent before version 23.9.0 allows a remote attacker to escalate privileges via a crafted script to the WSGIServer component. (CVE-2023-41419)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected python2-gevent and / or python3-gevent packages.
